Personal Training
Personal training has evolved over the past decade. At one time it was thought of as a luxury that only celebrities could enjoy. Lately, however, more and more people are choosing personal trainers over gym memberships. This is primarily due to the results which one to one training has proven it can achieve. As we all know, the vast majority of gym-users quit due to frustration at a lack of results. And even those that approach gym instructors for training programmes are often handed pre-made exercise routines which yield little in the way of benefits. Personal Training services are different as each session is tailored to the clients’ unique goals. A good trainer will always know if an exercise is giving too little, or too much stimulus to their client. By using a personal trainer you will see results that previously seemed out of reach.
As any personal trainer will tell you, crash diets and various ‘fat-loss wonder drugs’ are incredibly damaging to the body and are always counter-productive to a healthy lifestyle. As a personal trainer, it is my responsibility to inform you of the safest ways to attain the results you want and deserve.
Home training has become extremely popular in recent years. For me, this is a positive step for the fitness of our nation. The sheer number of workouts that can be performed with as little as a set of dumbbells, and an active imagination is endless. For your training sessions, all you will need is a bottle of water and a positive attitude. I will provide all the exercise equipment you will need.
REPS (register of exercise professionals) qualified.
The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) is a system of self-regulation for all instructors, coaches, trainers and teachers involved in the exercise and fitness industry. The REPs creates a framework within which individual instructors can achieve the highest standards of professionalism, linked to best practice in the exercise and fitness industry. Registration is achieved and maintained through the gaining of qualifications and training which are nationally recognised and which are linked to the National Occupational Standards for exercise and fitness.
